Today is the National Day of Observance for COVID-19’s victims. Exactly one year ago, the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic. In that moment, our daily lives immediately turned upside down.

Reopening of Municipal Outdoor Amenities

Clarence-Rockland – May 21, 2021, 2021 – Further to the province’s announcement to reopen outdoor recreational amenities, the Eastern Ontario Health Unit has provided guidance to the City of Clarence-Rockland.As such, the following outdoor park amenities will be open on Saturday, May 22, 2021:
- Boat launches
- Tennis courts
- Baseball, football and soccer fields
- Skateparks
- Outdoor fitness equipment
- Splash pads

Due to the current hazardous weather, some municipal services will be impacted today, December 23, 2022.
In-Person Client ServicesThe Client Service Centre will be closed to in-person requests. Residents are able pay their invoices and permits online.
Payments can also be made online with participating financial institutions. Client Service Officers are also available by email.

Weather Forecast: Environment Canada is forecasting major winter storm late this week into the holiday weekend. Precipitation may begin as rain or snow late Thursday before possibly transitioning to rain in many areas by early Friday. Temperatures are expected to plummet on Friday leading to a potential flash freeze for locations that receive rainfall.
Rainfall amounts up to 25 mm are expected by Friday afternoon, followed by approximately 10 cm of snow by end of evening.
