Full-Time Position 40 hours/week Work locationCity of Clarence-Rockland Position SummaryUnder the direction of the division Supervisor, the Operator Lead Hand - Water, Sewer and Waste Management is responsible for the coordination and planning of short-term operational activities for their division. The Operator Lead Hand develops and maintains partnerships with various stakeholders from other municipal departments and outside contractors to deliver operational activities. They support the supervisor in the medium and long-term planning of their division's operations. The Operator Lead Hand coordinates the work of the division's employees, providing leadership, feedback and training to ensure the quality and quantity of work performed, while complying with occupational health and safety rules and standards. If necessary, or at the request of the division Supervisor, the Operator Lead Hand will perform the tasks required of an operator in the division, to provide additional support to the team.
