The City of Clarence-Rockland is governed by an elected council, consisting of a mayor and 8 councillors. The municipal council is elected every 4 years.

The Council represents the best interests of the public, develops and maintains policies and programs for the City, maintains transparency and openness with respect to the operations of the municipality, and determines the services that the municipality provides to residents.

The Council meets monthly, usually on the second Wednesday. The meetings begin with a Regular Meeting, followed by a Committee of the Whole and are open to the public.

For a meetings schedule, please check the Municipal Calendar.
