Property taxes are the municipality's main source of revenue and are used to finance the many services provided to the City of Clarence-Rockland.

There are 2 tax billings per year:

  • An interim invoice in 2 instalments due on the last business day in February and April.
  • A final invoice in 2 instalments due on the last business day in June and August of each year.

If you would like to order a tax certificate, please send your request to taxes@clarence-rockland.com. Payment of $74 can be made by cheque payable to the City of Clarence-Rockland, 1560 Laurier St, Rockland, ON, K4K 1P7.

Special rates

Rate Codes

GRR = Residential rate for waste management

2025 rate is $235.00* per equivalent residential unit.

GRC = Commercial rate for waste management

2025 rate is:

a)       $510.00* per equivalent residential unit.

b)      $192.00* per ton with a minimum of $2,843.00* for commercial clients using bins.
