Accessibility Plan

The Accessibility Plan 2018-2022 [PDF/641KB] is designed to complement and extend previous plans and accessibility updates. This document includes strategies that will help make the City of Clarence-Rockland more accessible to all its residents and visitors. It also ensures that the accessibility standards under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act [PDF/641KB] (AODA) are fully implemented by 2025.

Cultural Study

The Cultural Needs Analysis provides a solid, research-based foundation upon which the City can develop policies that will guide the future cultural programming of the community.

The desired outcome of the study is to improve communication, cooperation and coordination among community partners; such as schools, social groups and individuals representing arts, culture and heritage in order to develop more programs and services or to enhance the existing ones in response to the community's needs.

Community Safety and Well-being Plan

The United Counties of Prescott and Russell have been working with their community partners since July of 2019 to develop a Community Safety and Well-being Plan, as mandated by legislation under the Police Services Act. Over one hundred community individuals, groups, organizations and agencies have been consulted in this process.

Asset Management Plan

The Clarence-Rockland Asset Management Plan is intended to describe the infrastructure owned, operated, and maintained by the City of Clarence-Rockland to support its core services. It is a compilation of many documents that describe the evolution of the Asset Management implementation in Clarence-Rockland over the past few years.

The Plan identifies what has been achieved, what is being done and what needs to be done to ensure core services provided to citizens, business, and institutions attain sustainability. This document provides information regarding the implementation of Asset Management in Clarence-Rockland, current state of the infrastructure along with current and future activities. While this document contains some detail, many external documents contain additional levels of detail and are referenced at the end of this document.

Recreation Master Plan

The Parks and Recreation Master Plan outlines priorities for the short, medium, and long term for parks and recreation services in the City of Clarence-Rockland, with guidance through 2031. This plan supports planning, budgeting, and implementation of goals.

It is flexible and will guide municipal decisions for the next 15 years, with recommendations that can be implemented individually.

Transportation Master Plan

Road and footpath transportation networks are composed of several segments that interact with each other. They create a network for moving around the community and accessing businesses, homes, parks and institutions.
