Bulky Item Pickup Service

The City of Clarence-Rockland offers a pickup service for heavy items (over 50 pounds).

• Tags cost $20 per item
• Mattress pickup costs $50:
  • $20 for transport
  • $30 recycling fee (charged by the landfill)

Drop-Off Option for Mattresses

If you bring your mattress directly to the landfill at 2335 Lalonde Road in Bourget,
you only pay the $30 recycling fee.

How to Purchase Tags

Tags can be purchased by contacting City Hall.
This service is usually offered once a month.

The domestic hazardous waste depot is located at 2335 Lalonde Road in Bourget. It must be noted that this service is for residential use only and commercial, industrial or farming products cannot be accepted.

It accepts the following hazardous products free of charge:

• Oil, antifreeze and gasoline
• Paint, adhesives and aerosols
• Batteries of all kinds
• Propane tanks and fire extinguishers
• Fluorescents tubes

It doesn't accept the following products : 

• Smoke detectors
• CO2 detectors
• Syringes
• Pharmaceuticals
• BPC
• Explosives (including fireworks)
• Munition

Many recyclable items are not collected at the curb, but can be dropped off free of charge at the landfill:
