Thank you to our community for the incredible floats and to all who lined Laurier Street with cheers—you brought the celebration to life. We couldn’t have done it without you!
The Christmas Parade of Lights is an annual tradition in Clarence-Rockland, bringing together families, businesses, and community groups to celebrate the holiday season. Each year, the parade features festive floats, local entertainment, and seasonal treats, creating a memorable experience for all ages.
As the parade takes place at night, floats should be well-lit and creatively decorated to reflect your brand or organization. Undecorated floats will not be permitted.
To ensure safety for all participants and spectators:
Children under 10 must remain on the float at all times.
Participants may not board or exit floats once the parade has started.
Each group may have one vehicle and one trailer.
Only one official Santa Claus is allowed at the end of the parade.
Do not throw items from floats. Items may be handed out by walkers beside the float.
Floats must not return to Heritage Street with passengers after the parade. Arrange alternate transportation from New Beginning Church if needed.
Each participant will receive an email with their position number before the event. This number must be displayed on the vehicle’s windshield. Each number corresponds to a designated spot on Heritage Road.
Please check your email the week before the parade for final instructions.
