Lottery Licences
To obtain a lottery licence within the City of Clarence-Rockland, the application submitted by your organization must meet the following charitable objectives:
- The relief of poverty;
- The advancement of education and/or religion;
- Any other charitable purpose beneficial to the community.

In order for the City of Clarence-Rockland to be able to review an application, the organization must meet the following criteria:

The application for a lottery licence must be submitted at least 45 days prior to the scheduled event. |
Licensing Fee |
The lottery licence fee is 3% of the total prize value. A minimum of $30 is required for licences under $1,200. An administration fee, as prescribed in the User Fee By-Law, will be charged for the following requests:
These guidelines are in addition to federal and provincial lottery legislation and are subject to change without notice. |
Provincial licences |
Any application for a bingo licence where the total value of prizes awarded in a session is greater than $5,500 and any other licence where the total value of prizes awarded is greater than $50,000 requires a provincial licence and must be sent to: Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario 7th Floor, 20 Dundas St. W, Toronto, ON M5G 2N6 |
