Clarence-Rockland Tables its Draft 2022 Budget

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – November 3, 2021 – The City of Clarence-Rockland tabled its draft budget at the November 1st, 2021, Committee of the Whole meeting.

This preliminary working document will be discussed and debated in Budget meetings on November 8, 9 and 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. Municipal Council will be able to make changes at that time. Due to the pandemic, these meetings will be held virtually via Zoom and broadcasted through Facebook Live.

Kyle Cyr is the new Councillor for Ward 2

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – November 2 2021 – Mr. Kyle Cyr is the new Ward 2 Councillor for the City of Clarence-Rockland. Mr. Cyr was sworn in at the November 1st, 2021, Regular Council Meeting and will hold the position of Councillor for the remainder of the term.  

The function of Ward 2 Councillor was officially vacant since September 8th, 2021, following the appointment of Mr. Mario Zanth as Mayor on August 30th, 2021.

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – November 1, 2021 – The City of Clarence-Rockland would like to inform residents that, at this time, there is no evidence that personal data was accessed or stolen following the cyber incident that occurred on October 25, 2021. The information was encrypted which makes it unusable. This has been confirmed by a reputable cyber forensics firm that has been retained to work with the municipality.
