CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – October 20, 2021 - Small Business Week runs from October 17 to 23, and it's the perfect time to praise our local entrepreneurs but above all, to encourage them.

The City of Clarence-Rockland would like to congratulate the municipality's business owners for their tenacity, but also for their creativity and initiative. Despite the pitfalls and worries caused by the pandemic, they persevered and worked non-stop. They have found innovative ways to run their businesses in sometimes very difficult conditions. To help them in their recovery, the City has created a Resources for Businesses section on its new website, and it is updated regularly.

The best way for us to mark Small Business Week is to continue to support our local businesses, every day, by purchasing their products and services. Supporting a small business means going to the hairdresser, ordering a meal at a restaurant, shopping for groceries and visiting an agri-food establishment. In short, it means deciding on a daily basis to support the local economy,” declared Mayor Mario Zanth.

The municipality invites residents to check its City of Clarence-Rockland Business Directory. It is a useful tool that will allow for interesting finds. We also invite business owners to register their business in the directory for free, and thus increase their visibility.
