January 6, 2022 - Emergency Daycare Services

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – January 6, 2022 - Following the Ontario government’s announcement that schools will move to remote learning until at least January 17, the United Counties of Prescott and Russell are reinstating, as of January 10, 2022, the Emergency Child Care program for school-aged children whose parents are healthcare and front-line workers.

 January 5, 2022 - Closure of Recreational Facilities

Please note that the City of Clarence-Rockland is closing its recreational facilities from January 5 to January 26, 2022, inclusively.

This closure affects the Recreation and Cultural Complex (YMCA), the Clarence Creek Arena, the Clarence-Rockland Arena, the museum, as well as the community halls. For those who have reservations, the City of Clarence-Rockland will contact clients individually in the coming days to discuss the different options.

For our outdoor facilities (skating rinks and sledding hills), please respect the signs on the premises.
