Position Summary
As a part-time Municipal Infrastructure Inspector, you will play a key role in helping maintain the safety and quality of municipal facilities and assets. Through regular field inspections, you will observe, document, and report deficiencies, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to the appropriate staff so that timely action can be taken.
We are looking for an attentive, self-motivated individual with sound judgment who can identify issues requiring follow-up and communicate information effectively. Responsibilities include inspecting municipal infrastructure, investigating complaints that require on-site verification, and occasionally performing minor maintenance-related tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being active in the field and making a direct contribution to the quality of municipal services.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the maintenance field.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, public relations abilities, and effective complaint resolution.
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
- Valid driver’s license.
Salary
As per the part-time salary scale: $21.10 à $26.47/hour.
