Philion Municipal Drain Review Project

The City of Clarence-Rockland is undertaking a review of the Philion Municipal Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act. This review examines the current drain, assesses the need for improvements or modifications, and updates assessments where required. The project is being carried out by a licensed drainage engineer appointed by Council.

This webpage serves as the central source of information for landowners, residents, agencies, and other interested parties throughout the project. Documents will be posted as they become available to ensure transparency and provide convenient access to information related to the review process.

Participation Opportunities

Property owners assessed within the watershed and other interested parties will have opportunities to review project documents and provide input throughout the statutory process. Meeting notices and deadlines will be posted on this webpage and circulated in accordance with the requirements of the Drainage Act.

Current Status: 

The Engineer's Report has been completed and filed with the City. The project is proceeding to the statutory review and approval process established under the Drainage Act
