Position Summary 

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative tasks in support of all departmental activities. As the point of contact for the department's internal and external clients, the Assistant must perform a multitude of follow-ups using various tools and applications to ensure the cohesion of the department's administrative activities. 

Requirements 

  • Completion of post-secondary education in office administration or an equivalent field.  
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Solid understanding of municipal operations. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. 
  • Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. 

Salary 

Class 3 (white collar) of the unionized wage scale: $26.15 à $30.27/hour.
