Position summary
Under the direction of the Manager of Daycares, the Early Childhood Educator Assistant - Student will support Early Childhood Educators in carrying out programs that promote the development of children 18 months to 12 years old.
Requirements
· Teach children to acquire good hygiene and eating habits. Help children dress properly.
· Be able to meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child, according on the age group.
· Able to complete assigned housekeeping duties and sanitation.
· Able to work as an active team member.
· Must have good communicate skills with children, staff, and parents in both official languages (written and oral).
· Must have a valid Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C certificate.
· Must have up-to-date immunization record including COVID-19 vaccine.
· Must be 16 years or older.
Asset
· Experience with children.
Salary
High School Students: $17.35 to $18.35 as per the part-time salary scale.
College/University Students: $19.04 to $23.88 as per the part-time salary scale.
