Important: A signage permit is required before the installation of any permanent or temporary sign. Permit fees must be collected before the permit can be issued.
If no, attach a signed authorization letter from the owner/authorized owner permitting the installation and maintenance of the sign(s) on the subject property. (Required for processing)
If yes, provide the projection dimensions and location. An encroachment authorization may be required and may be confirmed on the signage permit.

With respect to By-law 2019-20 and its amendments, to regulate the issuance, renewal, and approval of permits within the Corporation of the City of Clarence-Rockland, I, the undersigned, certify that the statements contained in this application are true and made with full knowledge of the circumstances related thereto, and I acknowledge that I have read the declaration and notice set out below.
The undersigned agrees that the issuance of a permit shall be subject to the approval of such municipal or provincial departments or agencies as deemed necessary by the Permit Manager. The issuance of a permit shall not be interpreted as permission or consent from the Corporation for the permit holder to contravene, fail to comply with, or not adhere to any law of Canada or Ontario, or any by-law of the Corporation.
Any business licence application that has not received approval from all municipal or provincial departments or agencies due to the applicant’s failure to comply with the permit requirements within 90 days of the application submission date shall be deemed refused.
