Blended Learning Pre-class materials:

Approximately one week prior to the online start date of the course an email will be sent to the Fire Chief and any designates on the OFC contact list by the Administrative Assistant for the Ontario Fire College. It will contain a redemption code for each student registered and instructions on how to login and commence the pre-class work.

The Fire Chief and designate(s) are to forward the redemption code and instructions to each student keeping the individual codes confidential.   It is important that students only use the redemption codes assigned to them to log into the course. Redemption codes and login information are to be sent to the students as soon as possible to ensure the student has the appropriate amount of time to work on pre-class assignments.

The online pre-class must be completed prior to the commencement of the in-class sessions in order to attend. The student’s progress through the pre-class work is monitored and if the student is not completing the required work, the student will be removed from the course.

Once the course roster has been issued by the Ontario Fire College registrar, we cannot accept changes or substitutions to that list and fire departments will still be invoiced the registration fees indicated above.
