Canada Post Strike – Important Information for Residents

In anticipation of a potential Canada Post strike, the City of Clarence-Rockland is taking proactive steps to ensure residents can access their property tax bills and make timely payments—without relying on mail delivery.

Property Tax Bills Have Been Mailed

Property tax bills were mailed during the week of May 19, 2025. If you have not received your bill, you may request a copy in person at City Hall (1560 Laurier Street) during regular business hours. Please bring a piece of photo identification.

Payment Due Dates

The final property tax bill is payable in two installments:

  • First installment: Due June 30, 2025

  • Second installment: Due August 30, 2025

For residents enrolled in the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP), payments will be processed as usual, with the first installment reflected on July 2, 2025.

Existing PAP clients should receive their PAP confirmation letter prior to any Canada Post strike action.
