Budget 2021 - A recommendation on November 16

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND - November 6, 2020 - The City of Clarence-Rockland’s Municipal Council spent the last three evenings reviewing the City’s draft operating and capital budgets.
Following these discussions, adjustments have been made to the operating budget. The Committee of the Whole will recommend a tax increase of 1% dedicated to roads and 1.25% to offset other increases, for a total of 2.25%. This recommendation will be considered by Municipal Council on November 16, 2020, at 7:15pm. The details of all the adjustments will be presented to Council that evening.
For the first time, budget discussions were broadcast via Facebook Live on the City’s page, making the budget process more transparent and accessible. The questions from residents that were received through budget@clarence-rockland.com will be responded to before November 16th.
