Emergency Management

The City of Clarence-Rockland Protective Services Department is responsible for establishing and maintaining the City’s emergency plan. This is done by virtue of a designated Community Emergency Management Coordinator (CEMC) along with several alternates. The intent of the Emergency Management Division of this department is to strive to ensure the safety and welfare of all persons in the municipality, the protection of property and environment, through all four pillars of emergency management doctrine (prevention/preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery).

Please find below brochures provided by the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) in both official languages to better prepare you for large scale emergencies, and how you can be better prepared to deal with these events.
