March Break Camps

Date: March 11-15, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cost: $375 per child

Location: Clarence-Rockland Arena

Age: Offered to players of all levels aged 5 to 12 years

*Please note that all participants must be able to skate on their own while handling a stick.

With two daily on-ice practices led by experienced hockey coach, Marc-André Proulx and guest coaches, participants will have the opportunity to develop and hone their hockey skills. Players are encouraged to set their own goals and work towards them. Drill groups will be divided by age and caliber on the first day and adjusted as needed as the week progresses. 

The daily programming will also include team building activities, active games, outdoor time and special enrichment blocks with Coach Proulx.

Age: 5 to 12 years

This camp is a delightful combination of creative arts and fascinating sciences. 

The week's program includes workshops from Ottawa Mad Science and Ottawa/Carleton U's Let's Talk Science program, sure to engage the minds of all budding scientists.

The three specialized Arts workshops in our Arts & Sciences camp are facilitated by a local artist, Tina Petrovicz. 

Tina is an artist, printmaker and painter, who originally trained and worked in the theatre, set painting and prop building. In 2003, she began working in art education, instructing teenagers at an alternative high school. During the summers, she animated crafts for the TD Summer Reading Club for ages 4-12. In 2013 She began exhibiting her paintings and prints in group and solo shows in Ontario and Quebec. When she is not creating art or painting murals, Tina continues to teach art, leading professional classes for adults, as well as animating workshops for various ages.

This general interest camp program offers the space and motivation that kids need to break the routine and be active while strengthening their social skills, improving their confidence, and developing their independence.

Each day will include at least one block of outdoor play.

Participants will also get to experience fun, STEM-oriented workshops with Ottawa Mad Science and Let's Talk Science at uOttawa and Carleton U!

*Please note: Younger children attending this camp must be comfortable being away from parents/gardiens and completely independent in the bathroom (Children are supervised in the bathroom area, but staff do not aid in any aspect of toileting in the stall).
