Cenotaph Rededication

The City of Clarence-Rockland and the Rockland & District Royal Canadian Legion will participate in a ceremony to rededicate the cenotaph in order to commemorate Canada’s contribution to the Afghanistan armed conflict.

CR Transpo Information Session

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – June 16th 2015 – The City of Clarence-Rockland and the CR Transpo Advisory Committee wish to remind its public transit users of an information session that will be held on June 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clarence Creek Arena.

This information session will address the future route changes as well as the summer routes that are starting June 29th. Additionally, the summer tickets will be on sale that evening.

At its June 15th regular meeting, Municipal Council accepted to keep the 2014 summer itinerary which included 8 trips on route 530. The new schedule that will be presented will have 8 routes instead of 7.

Road work

The City of Clarence-Rockland wants to inform you that it is undertaking the installation of a water main at the intersection of Edwards Street and County Road 17 in Rockland.

Work will begin on Thursday, June 11th at 7:00 a.m. and will end approximately on June 24. Meanwhile, the traffic lights will be replaced by flashing lights indicating a mandatory stop in all directions.
