Important information for residents

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND - May 4, 2017 – Many residents expressed their desire to help their fellow citizens who are experiencing difficult times because of the spring floods. People wanting to help can do so by going to different filling sites.

-           700 Industrielle Street, at the Waste Water Treatment Plant

-           at the intersection of Voisine Road and County Road 17 (please park at River Rock Inn)

-           at the end of Woods Street near the river

-           on Pago Street

We are asking volunteers to fill the bags and leave them at each sites. Owners that need them can pick them up at these locations. If residents need help to put the bags around their property, they can contact the volunteers directly at the filling sites.

The City of Clarence-Rockland still recommends that any affected person finds some temporary lodging until the water level recedes.
