For its sixth edition, the Festival will focus on the history of the City of Clarence-Rockland, du Moulin Park and the Ottawa River, in tune with the festivities of the 150th anniversary of Confederation.
Desjardins stage lineup
The City of Clarence-Rockland is proud that its show lineup on the Desjardins stage (sponsored by the Caisses populaire Desjardins) mixes different styles to please every resident. Artists that are confirmed on the Desjardins stage are:
- Sass Jordan with Sterling as the opening act on June 30

The Ottawa River – from yesterday to today
Much of the history of Clarence-Rockland is linked to the Ottawa River, with the foundation of the saw mill in 1868 by William Cameron Edwards, on a piece of land that is today the du Moulin Park. Special activities will be held during the festival to honor the community’s builders. For example, on July 1st, there will be a professional lumberjack demonstration.
The Festival will feature history, nostalgia and modern water activities. On Sunday, July 2, festival goers will be able to observe and participate in demonstrations of wakeboard and flyboard. Visitors that are not thrill seekers will prefer the pontoon rides or simply enjoy being by the river.
Partnerships that enhance the program
One of the strength of the Ottawa River Festival is the quality of its community collaborations which ensures a diversified schedule. New this year will be a local brewery beer garden presented in partnership with the Clarence-Rockland New Chamber of Commerce. The City of Clarence-Rockland is also proud to partner again with Rockland Ford for the Rockland Ford Classics Poker Run and the Clarence-Rockland Artists Association for the art exhibition under the tent.
